I work for a book packager that does books for Peachpit Press, a "small press" in Berkeley, California, that nonetheless consistently has books in the top ten sellers categories for Mac and DTP books, and which is evolving into larger areas of computing and information. We've been watching the whole Internet book explosion (there are 60 out now, I believe) and trying to find subjects of interest. This list has been very interesting, because it shows a real explosion of the use of Mosaic and WWW as a front end to information of all kinds, but especially periodicals. It seems like the LaserWriter and PageMaker of the information superhighway. Is the field changing to fast to cover Mosaic in a book? Or would a book that helps people use it effectively and that covers the kind of information (without being a compendium, of which there are already many) accessible through Mosaic be of use to you and your subscribers?
